Mr. Freeman
Robb started at PCCS in the spring of 2013 as a Substitute Teacher and became an Instructional Asst. the next fall. A parent whose child attends PCCS told him about the school. He was interested in the small classroom sizes and innovative ways that we integrate the environment into the students’ learning.
Mr. Freeman earned his Bachelors of Ed at Loyola University Chicago where he also studied at the Université de Nantes in France. He did practicum experiences throughout many high schools in the Chicago Public Schools, his student teaching took place at Nichols Middle School in Evanston, and he taught PreK through First grade English while living abroad. Mr. Freeman grew up camping more weekends than not and it was during those weekends where he learned to enjoy nature. His favorite quote is “A ship is safe in the harbor, but that is not why ships are built.” – Fortune Cookie The book he would recommend everyone read is “Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell” by Susanna Clarke.
