Lottery Process
When PCCS has more applicants than seats available, State law mandates that there must be a lottery registration process. Our lottery is a nonexclusive, nondiscriminatory process where all students who live in Districts 50 and 79 are welcome to apply. Legal residency must be established as of the day of the lottery for an applicant to be included in the lottery process. Eligibility for Out-of-district students will only be available after all in-district student applications have been placed during the lottery process. The School Lottery for the 2016-17 school year will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 at 7:00PM in Muir Hall of the Comstock Building. Lottery Registration forms will be accepted beginning Friday, January 1st, 2016 and continue through Monday, February 29, 2016 at noon in order to be included in the lottery.
