Mrs. Thompson

Grade: Special Education Resource Room: Upper Level - Kennicott Bldg.

Melissa Thompson began teaching at PCCS in 2009 as a Special Education Resource teacher. She spent her undergraduate years at Goshen College, IN obtaining a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. Our close-knit community and emphasis on natural leaders inspired Mrs. T’s growth and learning. In 2016, she earned an MEd in Curriculum & Instruction: Environmental Education through Concordia University Portland. Some of Mrs.T’s most cherished memories involved going on adventures outdoors to learn more about herself and the world around her. Mrs. T finds joy in connecting with students and empowers them to reach their goals in school and in life. After school, Mrs. T enjoys cooking, gardening, cat-time, and singing.  Her favorite quote is “Anything that we can do to help foster the intellect and spirit and emotional growth of our fellow human beings, that is our job.”-Fred (Mr.) Rogers
