Felicia Smetters started at PCCS in 2016 as an Instructional Assistant. The welcoming atmosphere and the amazing philosophies of the school brought her to PCCS. She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She student taught in the Fall of 2015 in Wadsworth, Illinois and also in Hailsham, United Kingdom. Felicia loves being out in nature and enjoying the environment. She says she may not be an expert with nature, but believes that having the opportunity to work at PCCS will help her skills with nature and the environment grow. Coffee and the pleasure of working with children get her out of bed every morning! Ms. Smetter’s favorite quote is one her mother used to say all the time when she was growing up so it has become one of Ms. Smetter’s favorites, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
