Laura Soyke is a Physical Education teacher for K-4th grade at Prairie Crossing Charter School. She is also a Special Education Support Staff. She loves seeing the students challenge themselves at the different skills that are introduced daily, either in the gym or in the classroom. Mrs. Soyke has a Masters in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Social Work.  Laura’s experience ranges from teaching in a classroom to working as a Registered Behavior Technician with clients in their home settings. She has volunteered with the Sierra club on multiple service trips and completed a Peace Corps service in Micronesia. Laura believes that nature can be a source of enjoyment, wonder, knowledge and comfort for us and it’s important to foster that understanding in our young people.
