Laura Soyke is a Physical Education teacher for K-4th grade at Prairie Crossing Charter School.  She loves seeing the students challenge themselves at the different skills that are introduced daily, either in the gym or in the classroom. Mrs. Soyke has a Masters in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Social Work.  Laura’s experience ranges from teaching in a classroom to working as a Registered Behavior Technician with clients in their home settings. She has volunteered with the Sierra club on multiple service trips and completed a Peace Corps service in Micronesia. Laura believes that nature can be a source of enjoyment, wonder, knowledge and comfort for us and it’s important to foster that understanding in our young people.
