Katie Canfield began her career at PCCS in 2021 and was drawn to the school because she loves the outdoors and the idea of being able to teach music outside. Prior to moving to Illinois, she taught music at both the elementary and high school levels for ten years in Las Vegas, NV. Mrs. Canfield holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano pedagogy and piano performance from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and a Master of Education degree in vocal music education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Mrs. Canfield loves to run, cook, bake, and play outside with her three kids. Their favorite place to be is in northern Wisconsin where she and her husband both grew up. She is looking forward to sharing her love of music and the outdoors with her students at PCCS.
