Mrs. McKee
Marnie McKee started at PCCS in 2014 because she values the environmental and conservation aspect of Prairie Crossing. She is a supporter of outdoor education and is proud to work for a school that supports natural leaders. Mrs. McKee taught preschool for many years before working at Prairie Crossing. Then in 2014, she earned her master’s degree in special education from National Louis University with a specialty in early childhood education. Mrs. McKee loves the outdoors! In fact, her hobbies revolve around the outdoors. She likes how there are varied educational opportunities to be outside throughout the day at PCCS. Mrs. McKee has two favorite quotes: ” Always be a little kinder than necessary” and “Live simply, care deeply, and love generously.” Her favorite childhood book was any book by Bill Peet. He has great morals to his stories, and explains them mostly through the eyes of animals.
