Mrs. McGeever
Jana McGeever started at PCCS in 2015 as a Spanish teacher. She had always admired Prairie Crossing and is happy to now be a part of the PCCS community. The close community, dedication to the environment, and academic excellence are what brought her to PCCS. She has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and education from Illinois State University, and studied for a semester in Mexico City while attending Universidad Autonoma de Mexico. She taught 3 years at Carmel High School in Mundelein and 5 years pre-k through 8th at Transfiguration/Frassati Catholic Academy in Wauconda. She enjoys spending time in nature as much as possible. Ms. McGeever’s favorite activity is jogging, preferably at a forest preserve or near a lake. She also enjoys working outside, planting, and gardening. Her favorite quote is, “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new”. – Albert Einstein
