Mr. Loustaunau
Christopher Loustaunau started at PCCS in 2016 as a Physical/Health Education Teacher. In 2009, his first substitute teaching opportunity happened at PCCS and he just fell in love with the school’s philosophy of going outdoors and creating connections with friends and nature. He kept a proverbial “hawk’s eye” on PCCS as a future landing place to grow into a stronger leader to assist others to soar beyond their own boundaries. Mr. Loustaunau graduated in 2009 from Elmhurst College with a BA in Physical/Health Education and completed his MA in Special Education with a LBS 1 endorsement from National Louis University in 2011. He is currently working on his Doctorate of Education in Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy. Mr. Loustaunau is also known as “Coach Chris” to many students locally & within the PCCS community because of his love and passion for coaching. One of his favorite places to get a fresh perspective on things is to find him gardening and doing outside projects at home. His favorite movie to watch over and over again is “Shawshank Redemption” as it relates to daily struggles and conflicts that we all face and how we overcome challenges. When asked what animal Mr. Loustaunau would compare himself to, he chose a lion as he has a strong protective instinct to fight for children’s rights and equal access to opportunities.
