September Larson started at PCCS in 2015 as a 3rd/4th grade teacher. She was very interested in joining the PCCS team because of the high quality education it extends to the PCCS students. She was also very drawn to nature and this made PCCS a perfect fit for her personally. Ms. Larson has an extensive professional background including time in the financial industry, student teaching a 3rd/4th grade class in Australia, an Elementary Education Bachelor degree from Barat of DePaul, and a Masters of  Ed; Curriculum and Instruction with Advanced Professional Specializations from National Louis University. She truly enjoys nature and believes the environment is very important to consider in our day to day lives. She loves being outdoors and her favorite activities include camping, animal watching, bug catching and hiking. One thing people may not know about her is that Ms. Larson was formerly a magician’s assistant. She grew up watching Wonder Woman and consequently, she is Ms. Larson’s favorite super hero. To her, Wonder Woman embodies the quest for justice and truth and a strong female role model.
