Ms. Klug
Rachel Klug started at PCCS in 2017 as the Music Teacher. Rachel was drawn to PCCS because of its beautiful campus and the school’s unique mission. She is excited to experience the outdoors and make music with students based on what they see, hear and touch. Rachel studied Music Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. While in college, she participated in a variety of choirs including an all Women’s Choir and a Gospel Choir. Rachel has been the Director of a Summer Camp for the past few years where she has enjoyed exploring nature with her campers. She also enjoys exploring State Parks, and experimenting with how the sounds of nature can be used to make music. Rachel’s favorite quote is “where words fail, music speaks.” A book Rachel recommends everyone read is “Wonder” by Raquel J. Palacio.
