She has taught 9 years in special education in an elementary school. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education from York College of Pennsylvania. In 2017, she received her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: An Emphasis in Reading in the Elementary Grades. Mindy is exploring the land of Illinois with her family of 5. She has 2 boys and a little girl who was just born in January.
Mindy’s favorite childhood book is, “It Didn’t Frighten Me.” It was her uncle’s book as a child. She would read it every night while visiting her grandparents who lived 5 hours away in Pennsylvania. As a college graduation present, her grandmother gave her the exact book. She is very eager and excited to learn about the environment while working at PCCS. Her father graduated with a forestry degree is excited to be sharing a connection with him.
