Mr. Flinn
Joshua Flinn started at PCCS in 2016 as Physical Education Teacher and Reading Interventionist. He came to PCCS for the opportunity to teach students how to be physically active and environmentally conscious. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Illinois University in Physical Education and Health Education. After graduation, Mr. Flinn became an Instructional Assistant and a Reading Interventionist in Glen Ellyn and then went on to work as a long-term substitute teacher for Health and PE at Fremont Middle School. Mr. Flinn likes to be in nature as much as he can, especially when it comes to physical activity. At PCCS, he plans on incorporating environmental education within physical education and student learning. One of his favorite quotes is “A teacher effects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” -Henry Adams. Mr. Flinn’s favorite childhood book is The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper, because it teaches you to never doubt yourself and never give up.
