This year’s MPAC potluck will highlight our Muslim community as we celebrate Mawlid al-Nabi al-Sharif as we focus on zakat or charity.

On Thursday November 14th in the Byron Colby Barn at 5:30 pm to 7:00pm(ish), enjoy an iftar styled snack before learning about the history and traditions of Islam through a performance, crafts, and reading. We will practice literacy strategies that you can use at home to help your child become a stronger reader.

Then bring a dish from your culture to share with others. It will be like Farm to Table so remember to bring your own plate and utensils.
