Samantha Aguilar earned her BA at Northeastern Illinois University in 2014. It is her first-year teaching and she is  excited this year to join PCCS. One thing she  has learned while being at PCCS is that this school is a community and everyone is willing to give you a hand.  Samantha’s biggest environmental concern is climate change and to help fight it, she  has partnered with Greenpeace where she volunteered in various projects involving the environment, education, and more.

One interesting thing people might not know about Samantha  is that for the past 2 years she has been trying to write a book and hope one day to get it published. She is an avid lover of fantasy and Paranormal fiction. Her study at home is covered with books top to bottom. If Samantha is not reading a good book by the fire, she is  trying to learn a new recipe or catching up on her favorite tv shows. Samantha’s favorite movie of all time is Ever After and her role model is Eleanor Roosevelt. A woman that helped draft the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
