Mr. Bonder
Mr. Bonder started working at PCCS in the fall of 2019. He was drawn to the school because of the innovative and uniqueness of the school’s philosophy and mission. Mr. Bonder graduated from National-Louis University with honors in 1999 with a double major in Elementary Education and Educational Psychology and for the past 20 years he has has taught in Therapeutic Day schools in the Chicago area.
One thing most people don’t know about Mr. Bonder is that he grew up rock climbing with his dad and was the youngest person ever to be invited to join the Chicago Mountaineers at the age of 13 yrs. old. His favorite childhood book is McElligot’s Pool, by Dr. Seuss, because it shows the creativity and optimism of a child fishing in a small pond that everyone says there are no fish in that small pond. Mr. Bonder’s favorite quote is, “Live and let live”
