This one is going to be short, I promise I’ll do a full review next week after the Valentine’s Day party.
In math the kids have been working on multiplication and division. Continuing to work on math facts will help them a lot. They took a science test today and we have started talking about early settlers in Illinois during social studies. Persuasive writing is the topic during writing class. In reading they finished reading about rocks and minerals, next week they will start new novels.
We took a walk outside the other day after the ice storm and the campus was beautiful.
The school kicked off the Kid’s Heart Challenge on Monday with an assembly.
I’m running out of things to share with the kids for Hawk’s Tickets, so let’s see. Have them tell me what type of electronics I like best, Windows, Android, or Apple. It’s Apple all the way!
