Hello everyone,
Student led conferences were last night and they were a great success! The students did a fantastic job and we all would like to thank the parents who attended and acted as audience members during their student’s presentations. If you were unable to attend, I would encourage you to view your child’s presentation at home as they worked very hard on them and have a lot of interesting material to share. If you have any questions about what you saw or want to discuss your student’s performance any further, please contact me by email and I’d be happy to address any questions or concerns you may have.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to give some additional thank yous to several people who have helped our class in the last month. First off I’d like to thank the parents who planned and came into the classroom to help with the Valentine’s Day party. The kids enjoyed it and it was a fun final party for the year. Next, I’d like to thank our volunteers, Mrs. Engelhardt & Mrs. Badgley, who accompanied our class on their field trip to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. The students got to participate in a lot of cool hands on learning activities and having our parents with us made everything run smoothly. Finally, thank you to the families who purchased and donated books to our class library. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and the students are excited about the new additions.
