Today in Ms. Hahn’s class, Mrs. Meyer and Mr. Smith came in to discuss with the class the use of appropriate language at school. They talked to the kids about how certain words and topics are not acceptable at school and that they won’t be tolerated. The main point to come out of the message was that we should have a “G” rating at school at all times. I’ve included some pictures, as they had the kids do some skits to show the wrong language vs. expected language. One of the images is a capture of what Mrs. Meyer and Mr. Smith wrote on our board.
Please talk to your children about the importance of this discussion. The best way to sum it up for the kids is that if they wouldn’t use the language in front of their teachers or parents, they should not be using that language at school.
