Week 2

PICTURE DAY IS MONDAY! PICTURE DAY IS MONDAY! PICTURE DAY IS MONDAY!

It is hard to believe that we are almost on our third week of school, but it’s true! The 3rd and 4th graders began talking about scientific method, experimented with dancing raisins, talked about theme and characteristics of characters in stories, began our spelling units, and started to practice with our Daily 5. Whew! It is a lot to adjust to, but we will be great with continuous work and effort.

Next week, we will officially start our spelling groups and begin our unit on electricity. It will be an exciting week for the kids because they will be conducting experiments with electricity and circuits. Everyone will be safe – promise! We will be getting outside to work on our phenology journals, so we hope the weather will cooperate!
