Salutations!
This past week in ELA, students continued reading their dystopian novels. They will be finished reading their novels next week (if they haven’t already) and are submitting their final creative role at their final circle meeting. Students also continued their dystopia creative writing piece this week (click here for rubric), which is due Wednesday. Plus, students read about Ruby Bridges and her courage at such a young age.
In Social Studies, students dove into their Master of Knowledge presentations (click here for rubric), which will begin on Thursday. Students may be gathering materials for their activity or finishing their presentation piece at home over the weekend.
Throughout students’ specials, they have: learned about the dangers of alcohol and underage drinking (Health), finished their color value projects (Art), and presented their family birthday presentations (Spanish). Starting next week, students will once again have Music twice per week.

If you have a chance, check out the Green Team’s T2 Green Gazette!
