Turner Tribune 10/27/17

Hello parents,

This week we commemorated Anti-bullying week at PCCS. That said, it is of course essential that students, parents and staff alike continue to treat each other with respect and compassion. Here are some resources for anyone looking for guidance on working through any of the following situations:

In other news, I received an order for new books for our library this week. For anyone wanting to order through Scholastic, please enter our class code: 1FFDY. This earns our class rewards to spend on books! Speaking of books, we finished our first read aloud of the year, Because of Mr. Terupt. When polled, almost every single 6th grader responded that they really enjoyed the book. Ask your child what they thought/why they liked it! Our next novel will be Chasing Vermeer.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered for our Milwaukee Museum field trip. Mr. Gould has been confirmed as our parent chaperone. Should anything change, we will let you know. If you are still looking for volunteer opportunities, please consider joining us at the Halloween Party next Tuesday, from 2-3:15. Sign-up here to donate and/or volunteer.
