Happy Friday!
This week students started building their background of Ancient Rome, by drawing timelines and reading about the Roman republic. In ELA students began to plan a comic they will create, to model the Hero’s Journey using an example from their own life. They should also be concluding their reading of Percy Jackson by next Monday.
Monday afternoon, Carson students will have Field Day. Turner homeroom students should wear green, while Hershiser homeroom students should wear black. On Wednesday, for the canoe trip to Skokie Lagoons, please have students bring a small drawstring backpack to carry their lunch (nut-free and heat-up free please).

Fri 6/7: PBIS celebration 10-12:30pm ; ER/Last Day of School 1 PM dismissal
