Turner Times 4/12/19

Greetings all,

Students did a stellar job this week on the Illinois Assessment of Readiness, persevering through challenging questions and technology issues. We are so proud of their dedication and hard work! If anyone was absent during testing, make-ups will take place next week. Students also completed our ELA dystopia unit by turning in their creative book covers, made great progress on their social studies masks by attaching handles and potential add-ons, and enjoyed a special assembly with the theme “anything is possible”; check out photos/video from today’s Bubble Wonders assembly here and be sure to have your child show you their “be kind” t-shirt at home.

A reminder that $16 payment for our Earth Week field trip to the Peggy Notebaert Museum was due today. Please send payment on Monday if necessary, or follow the directions here to pay online.

The slideshow from our camping meeting can be found here. We are still looking for at least two more parent chaperones for the camping trip. Please complete the form here to share your interest. As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
