Sixth Grade Gazette 10/14/16

Dear parents,

Monday was a no-school day due to Columbus Day, but we got right back into the swing of things on Tuesday for our shortened week! In Spanish, we have been practicing pronouns using a game that everyone has enjoyed very much. It has been great practice! Meanwhile in Social Studies, we have moved on to defining many terms relating to elections. With this being a presidential election year, try engaging your child in conversation about the race. They may surprise you with some newfound vocabulary!

We have also been continuing our Eat Real theme for the month of October! We will culminate that with a slideshow at next month’s Green Assembly.

Important Dates to Know:

October 19: Early Release (at 1 PM)

October 24: World Food Day (celebrating the week related to that)

October 31: Halloween party at 2:15 PM
Enjoy your weekend!
