Today, Ms. Nham led students in gathering more tomatillos, bell peppers, and tomatoes from the garden. We now are ready to make Green Tomatillo Salsa!
Over the weekend, we will prepare the salsa using ingredients students harvested (along with a couple onions from my garden). If you would like, on Monday you can have your child bring a tortilla chip, veggie, or anything else to try a bite of our garden salsa. They can also bring in a spoon and simply try the salsa on its own.
