Today we learned about and worked with fourths! We talked about others names for the fraction, like quarter. We came up with the rules that a fraction must be divided into equal parts and students made some fractions rugs! We’ll be doing a short assessment tomorrow on halves and quarters, including identifying if examples are really divided into halves (some will have equal parts and some will have unequal parts). We’ll also be starting our next unit tomorrow on number systems, addition, and subtraction.
