Today we had a very brief math session due to our Green Challenge assembly. We started a lesson on measuring that we will complete tomorrow. Our focus today and tomorrow is on measuring lengths using different-sized units. Tomorrow we will continue this lesson with a focus on developing accurate measurement techniques. When we measure using nonstandard units we use these these techniques: measure the longest part, measure in a straight line, make sure the measurement tools touch each other, measure all the way from one end to the other.
