The K-4 students have been enjoying some Tabata workouts. Tabata?? What’s that?? Tabata is interval training, 2o seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest. It is a great way to get a lot of work done in a short amount of time. The students have performed Tabata burpees, line jumps and even partner catching. Everyone does a great job and they really enjoy it!
The students just finished working on kicking and we have now moved on to passing and trapping. The emphasis is on good passes to our partner and getting the ball under control while trapping. We will continue with these skills for the next couple of weeks.
Field day is coming up quickly and volunteers will be needed. I will be sending something out in the next week for anyone wanting to volunteer to help during field day.
