We have come to a decision. Both classrooms made their presentations to the Administration this week. They presented informational presentations on six varying hydroponic systems. Both classrooms did an amazing job and I are extremely proud of them for stepping up.
The administration had many questions, comments, and suggestions. Ms. Turner’s classroom choose to do a continuous flow system (or nutrient film technique) but they want to add a tank of fish with it as well. Incorporation Aquaponics into the end goal. Mr. Hershiser’s classroom decided to do a tower/ Vertical aeroponics system. They like the aesthetics of the way it would look with a pillar of plants.
Next week we will be exploring these ideas and finding ways to make them happen.
