Grayslake Central High School will again host placement testing for current 8th graders who will attend Grayslake Central next year. This placement testing will include the Explore test and two internal placement screeners for English and Math. These exams and screeners are important components to determining placement in freshmen courses.
The test will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the Grayslake Central Field House. Students should arrive at 7:50 a.m. and bring a calculator and 2 sharpened pencils with erasers. Testing will be completed around 11:30 a.m. and students should be ready for pick-up at that time. Students with Individualized Education Plans or 504 Plan accommodations may require additional time and will be dismissed once their testing has been completed. If a student is ill on October 25th, we will have a district-wide make-up date on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Grayslake North High School from 7:50-11:30 a.m.
