We are coming to the end of the trimester! Our report cards will be going home this Friday (November 13th).
Conferences will be Monday (November 23rd) from 2-7 pm and Tuesday (November 24th) from 2-4. Ms. Stefans will be sending out a link with times for you to sign up for a fifteen minute time slot. This is going to be a first come, first serve basis. Conferences will be student attended.
As the weather gets colder, please make sure your child has appropriate clothing to go outside in. Also, our classroom has been pretty chilly so you may want to encourage your child to bring a sweater to keep in their locker if they get cold.
Prairie Crossing will begin collecting for the Holiday Bazaar. Start collecting items that can be donated so we can have a great variety of items for sale. I believe that, generally, they receive fewer “dad gifts” than other categories so maybe you have something that may fit in here.
Ms. Bonicontro is trying to start a competitive underwater robotics team. The purpose of this group is to build a functioning robot, controlled by remote control, that can perform tasks underwater. She will be working with the local branch of the Navy to help her team to build the robots. Unfortunately, a team can only have four students on it, and we have more interest than just four students. We are hoping to reach out to the community to help support this great opportunity to foster skills in the areas of technology, science, engineering, and mathematics. If you, or anyone you know has any engineering skills, or is interested in helping out, please contact Ms. Bonicontro at email@example.com .
Have a wonderful weekend!
