Classroom Update 4/14

Today we visited our solo spots! The students were asked to draw something small with BIG details! We ran out of time to share, so your child is bringing home their journal to share their entry with you!  Also, the students are determined to write “humid” as one of their weather description words. Someone suggests it every time that we are out. It is a cool, big, important sounding word! If you get the opportunity, can you please have your child go into a humid area and point out the feeling to them (ex. a bathroom after someone took a hot shower or a pool area with a hot tub)? They need some help to understand humid and I can’t think of a way to give them the experience on campus!
