Today the students had 2 choices for their daily journal prompt. They could choose to describe how they would decorate a gingerbread house. Or they could tell about how they would save a snowman from melting. Both journal prompts elicited great answers!
In handwriting, we spent some time playing catch up! We’ve had absences over the past few weeks so we’re all over the place with who has which pages completed. The students also got their new words of the week!
1st: going, our, three, want
2nd: seen, during, worn, wrong, you’re, several, never
In science we tried making a kazoo like we did yesterday but used plastic wrap instead of wax paper to cover the end. Ask your child what happened when we used a different material to make our kazoos.
