Today was a very energy filled day! Everyone was excited to be back at school!!
Students were pulled early in the morning for testing and will be pulled in small groups tomorrow morning as well.
In reading, students finished adding to our non-fiction poster if they didn’t have a chance to on Friday.
We got new Words of the Week today!
1st: cat, take, dad, hide
2nd: circle, large, doing, family, different, hand, clothes
In science we tested different kinds of cups to see if one type (paper, plastic, or foam) worked best in a cup phone. The students also drew a plan for their prototype. Next time we do science we’ll break into groups and begin building our prototypes!
Don’t forget: early release is tomorrow! Your child should have a good breakfast so they can last without eating until snunch.
