Today during reading we talked about fiction vs. nonfiction. The students found examples of both in their book bins and we started a poster for nonfiction topics that the students like to read about. We’ll be focusing on nonfiction books and their features during reading for the next month or so.
We saw all of our specials teachers today! I hope your son or daughter is sharing with you the cool things they are learning when they are spending time with their other teachers. It’s amazing to hear the students do the pledge in Spanish, recognize the names of music notes like ‘half rest,’ or talk about the fun they are having in PE and art.
