Classroom News

Good Evening,
As we wind down the school year tomorrow, I want to take a moment and thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout the school year. We’ve had a great year filled with growth, laughs, learning, and memories being made. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach your student and get to know them on an individual basis. Each and every student in our class contributed to making a positive classroom culture and supported one another socially and academically.
I will greatly miss the fourth graders as they head to the Carson building. They were great leaders for our third graders. I am confident in each of their abilities to adjust and thrive in fifth grade.
I am excited for the third graders to come back in the fall as fourth graders and take the leadership role for our incoming third graders. I am confident that they will guide, and welcome, the third graders with ease.
Tomorrow, we will have our PBIS celebration beginning at 10:00am with a short opening ceremony. Our stations include Bouncy houses from 10:15-11:00 on Market Square, Lunch and frozen treats from 11:00-11:45 on the grassy field between buildings, and dance party/activities in the gym from 11:45-12:30. We will then return to the classroom for dismissal at 1:00pm. Please make sure your student takes any remaining belongings with them at the end of the day.
Thank you again for your support this school year. I am so proud of your student and thankful for the experiences I’ve had with them throughout the year. Have a wonderful, relaxing summer. Please be in touch with any questions.
I’ve included a few links to pictures of our adventures. Enjoy!
