There have been a lot of changes going on in the classroom with all of the animals we are studying!
Our chicks started to hatch on Monday. We have had 11 chicks hatch overall. It was great to see them, and they were so cute! Each student was able to have their picture taken with one of the chicks – if they wanted to. We’ll be doing something with this picture later on!
Our caterpillars have also gone through some changes, too – they have gone into the chrysalis form! It seemed like this has happened very quickly…especially with our silkworms still eating…and eating…and eating…and not going into their cocoon. It will be fun to see what they look like when they do this!
