To commemorate this month’s Green Challenge, next Thursday afternoon we will be exploring themes of water scarcity and conservation, recognizing the U.N.’s World Water Day. Please encourage your child to wear blue on Thursday and dress for the weather.
A reminder, PARCC testing begins on Tuesday with ELA testing taking place from 8:45-10:30, through Thursday. Please help ensure your child gets a good night’s rest and has breakfast. Students will be provided with mints and pencils prior to testing, but if you have any spare pencils at home we would happily take them (as students are taking the test paper/pencil).
As a capstone to March, the school’s drama club will be performing “The Lion King Jr.” Friday at 9:00 am, and we will have our class puzzle party on Friday (students voted to wear PJs to school and play games inside). Also, I believe the ⅚ room parents may be coordinating a pre-spring break party for 2pm on Friday as well.
