Happy Friday,
We hope everyone enjoyed their 4-day weekend last week! Students came back on Tuesday ready to work on wrapping up research for their dinosaur report and begin drafting. First drafts of this assignment are due on Tuesday. Please encourage your child to utilize the resources provided (rubric, example report, etc) to help ensure they meet the expectations. Students also have a new segment of reading in their lit circle book this week, with the addition of their lit circle packet. I hope they enjoy taking on the new creative roles offered during this session! Audio options for all books are available on Google Classroom.
In social studies, students are concluding their group’s Nile River 3D maps early next week, and then continuing their study of the River’s impact on ancient civilization. Students are doing a great job of working with their Nome group members.
Last but not least, thanks to all involved in another successful Farm to Table on Wednesday!
