Hello all,
It has been a wacky week, with the weather impacting our school days. On attendance days, students did their part to ensure we are moving forward in our studies of Global Issues and Ancient Egypt, as well as mastering additional academic vocabulary words. Here is hoping the worst of it is behind us. Next week students will begin mapping the geography of Egypt (in SS), and learn about the theme of our next set of literature circle novels (in ELA) – dystopia.
Please encourage your child to share academic progress with you. In addition to reviewing papers from school, the Powerschool website is a powerful tool to keep track of students’ successes and areas that may need additional attention. Let us know if you are having trouble logging-in.
