Hello families,
Since coming back from break we have been busy busy! Students were truly good sports this week, handling NWEA testing issues and changes to the routine. We appreciate students’ patience and hard-work. Testing will conclude next week.
In ELA, students are in the midst of creating informational “Global Issue” presentations (click here for a modeled example, w/grading checklist at the end) and in SS we will wrap up our study of Mesopotamia next week. Our field trip Thursday was a hit (click here for photos) and a great intro to our next unit, on Ancient Egypt. Thank you to Mrs. Flaig and Mrs. McLevey for joining us!
Next week is also School Choice Week AND Peace Week! So lots of celebrations ahead, including themed spirit days:
