Good afternoon parents of students in Ms. Turner’s math class,
Students have been hard at work in our fractions unit. As a culmination of the unit, we would like to celebrate Pi Day next week. We are planning on making 3-4 apple pies and 3-4 Oreo/no-bake pies. Here you will find recipes for our pies. Depending on the response we get, we are aiming to bake on Tuesday March 14th, but may alter the day if more time is needed to gather supplies.
It would be wonderful to partner with you for this celebration. We are looking for volunteers to help with the baking process in class, and are also asking families to donate ingredients if possible. If you would like to volunteer or contribute a donation, please click here.If you do not wish to have your child participate in eating either pie, please let me know so we can create an alternative plan for them.
