Sixth Grade Gazette 9/2/16

Dear parents,

As the summer weather seems to be winding down (although you never know…), it was another productive week in 6th grade at PCCS! Sixth graders split off to Mr. Barber and Mr. Hershiser for Math, where they are both working with decimals. With Mrs. Neil in Science, they are working with variables in experiments. We have also begun our read-aloud book — Fish In A Tree — and have had some great discussions about the book so far. On Tuesday, we also had our first Green Assembly of the year, focusing on wellness. We are also excited to see some of the current events through NewsELA that your children will come up with for class on Tuesday!

Important Dates to Know:

Friday, September 9: Tomatoes Jubilee

September 13: (6-7 PM) Carson Building Curriculum Night

(7 PM) Mrs. Flaig, the environmental leader for 5th-8th grade, will be holding a Trip Information Meeting
