Sixth Grade Gazette 2/3/17

Dear parents,

In Social Studies, everyone completed a geography packet focusing on the countries of our world. Today, a Passport packet was also introduced — with a partner, everyone will fill out information about one country from every continent. Everyone’s “passports” will help your children become experts on geography facts! We also enjoyed our puzzle party on Thursday, watching “The Emperor’s New Groove” and playing on chromebooks. In ELA, everyone is close to finishing their literature circle books, and has been putting in some great work on their current events lately.

In our specials classes, students began their fitness testing (PE), had a very valuable lesson from Mr. L about the dangers of smoking (Health), began a perspective project (Art), and continued their practice of irregular verbs (Spanish).

PCCS is hosting a fun fair, and needs small toys or prizes that are in good condition. Please send in donations with your children or to Ms. Jackson’s 8th grade class by February 10th.
