Sixth Grade Gazette 12/9/16

Dear parents,

It’s been a cold but good week in 6th grade! In ELA, everyone is finishing up their speeches on their accomplished historical figure. Presentations are coming up at the beginning of next week, and this weekend is a great time to practice and prepare! In Social Studies, all 4th-8th grade classes participated in the Geography Bee at PCCS. Each classroom had one winner decided this week, and the school-wide Bee is on Monday. Also, in Science everyone has been working hard on their biomes presentation. Some of you may have seen your child working on this at home! In PE, we have been practicing volleyball for a week, and will continue practicing and playing volleyball until Winter Break. Lastly, in Art everyone is preparing to make a pinch pot out of clay!
