Sixth Grade Gazette 1/27/17

Dear parents,

This week in Social Studies, all students finished their national park presentations! Everyone is now moving on to our next mini-project, in which they all will create their mini-national park based on a landmark in the Prairie Crossing neighborhood. This is a good chance for your child to possibly learn more about the Prairie Crossing area from an environmental aspect. Feel free to ask your child about what they have chosen for this project! In ELA, everyone has come close to finishing their books for their literature circle groups. Lastly, everyone took a test on biomes today in Science.

In our specials, we have created posters in groups to learn 6 new irregular verbs (Spanish) and have continued basketball and Health (PE).

The Green Team’s next public program is the Fairy Garden workshops on February 11 at 9, 10 and 11 AM (Fairy Garden Class Flyer)

Important Dates to Know:

February 7: Green Assembly (at 8:15 AM)

February 10: Jump Rope for Heart Assembly (9:00 AM)
