Salsa Day- Thursday, Sept 19th 8:30-9:30
We are in need of 4-6 parents to come in and help us prepare tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, garlic, onions and limes for salsa. Students will be eating the salsa during snack time later on in the day. They will also have an opportunity to bring a small amount home for you to try.
Volunteers will need to bring in a sharp knife and large cutting board to use with students. You will work with a couple students at a time in cutting the above items. You will need to fill out the volunteer form in order to help with this activity. I have included it in this email, on my webpage and on Seesaw. Please let me know if you have any questions.
All students need to bring in a small tupperware container to put the salsa in during snack time. I am also looking for 3 parents to donate a bag of tortilla chips. Please let me know if you are interested in sending a bag in.
