Good afternoon,
This was a fun-filled week, with lots of hands-on learning opportunities. Students studied two sets of academic-specific vocabulary, and had a chance to practice their words using Vocabulary.com. They also dove into Ancient Greek culture, choosing from activities like cooking, designing monuments, or learning more mythology.
Next week, students will begin our final ELA unit of the year, The Hero’s Journey. This kicks off Monday with a Prezi & some guided notes. In SS, Greek Weeks continue. Be sure your child is sharing their activities with me using the Google Form, as well as the optional FlipGrid & Classroom post. It looks like everyone is really enjoying the activities so far! 🙂
