Hello families,
First and foremost, please click here to signup for a student-attended conference. Students wrapped up the trimester strong this week, completing their personal narrative submissions, learning hunter/gatherers games, and watching a video on the ancient Maya and Aztec cultures.
Next week is a clean slate, for students to apply new organization strategies and improved understanding of the responsibilities of a 6th grader. Also next week, we will be starting a new vocabulary unit of study, on academic-specific terms. This will be in the form of a weekly word list students study and utilize – you can keep track of the words each week by bookmarking the following document: weekly 6th grade vocabulary words.
